| Clean Cooking Activities | Himalayan Innovations runs a green initiative called "girls4rurals" that has network of 160 young girls(women energy leaders of tomorrow). It started when I came to realise the fact that it is one thing for a technology to be made available and another thing for girls and women to actually know how to use it while doing research in rural community. Girls4rurals aims to solve such issues mobilising the trained young girls in the rural community to avail the technology in this case( clean cooking stove preferably induction cooking) and make it affordable by pay go model for efficient RE financing along with the awareness that investment in renewable energy technologies is a sustainable investment. |
