| Mission | In Malawi, Hestian promotes improved household cook stoves that are affordable, appropriate and locally made. The aim is to expand this work to Zambia and Mozambique, along with expanding the regions in Malawi which are covered by the current project. |

| Clean Cooking Activities | Hestian has been operating carbon-financed cookstove projects in Africa for 8 years. Hestian only operates in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in Africa. Hestian set up: the 1st project to issue cookstove credits in Malawi (2011); and the 1st project to issue cookstove credits in Rwanda (2014). |
