| Clean Cooking Activities | 5 Star Stoves Bangladesh ( a sister Concern’s of National NGO – Integrated Village Development Society -IVDS ) is a sustainable answer to clean cooking solutions. In 2013, IVDS obtained membership of GACC, CCEB-USAID and 5 star stoves Captown In 2013 ,IVDS authority to establish an independent business wing for ICS program named 5 Star Stoves Bangladesh. In 2015, Five Star Stoves Bangladesh obtained Membership from Household Energy Platform (HEP) Bangladesh under SREDA, MoPE government of Bangladesh. Since won a range of recognition from SEED, SE4ALL, E4ALL, CTIPFAN .5 Star Stoves Bangladesh was awarded by Startup Bangladesh- & SREDA in 2017. |
| Partnership | Five Star Stoves Bangladesh Ltd designed technology to offer the best cost to cook from a single improved non-toxic biomass pellets fuel. We provide a pay to ESCO cook business model. This includes the provision of our two model Tier -4 category Stoves ( TLUD micro gasification and Metallic Lining insulation stoves )a energy pack at an affordable price . Socially we empower women as matriarchs of the households with a clean and efficient solution, with more disposable income to spend on nutrition and education. We focus and developed our own biomass value chain approach to address the energy needs of people living around Rural and urban both. We aim to provide the best possible service outcome by linking our ESCO service model to the technology to make it affordable for the household. The value creation process starts with the delivery of biomass to the densification plant, by collectors and harvesters. 5 Star Ladies do distribution of the pellets and placement of the stoves. They bring to stove to the right household . 25500 families will get access to clean cooking within 2022. A 100-ton capacity Pellet Mill will be set up for better utilization of unused biomass wastes. 300 women entrepreneur develop ( 5 Star Ladies) & 200 technicians will be trained for sensitizing on behavior change campaign to climate mitigation activities, improving public health, safety& Healthy kitchen for women in the project area. Affordable efficient 5 Star stoves support to achieve 12 SDG Goals. |
